Compliance Audit

The Compliance audit is a comprehensive review of an organisation adherence to regulatory guidelianes and it's present practices and procedures of statutory labour laws compliance- Registers maintained, Information/Notices/ Periodical Returns sent to the Directorate of Factories, Department of Labour, or any other Departments under the following Acts.

  • The Factories Act (Form-22 / Register of Adult Workers / Overtime / Compensatory Holidays, Leave Register, Annual Returns & Half-Yearly Returns in Form-20 & Form-21).
  • The Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act.
  • The Minimum Wages Act (Register of Fines / Deductions)
  • The Payment of Wages Act (Register of Advances).
  • The Payment of Bonus Act (Form A,B & C).
  • The Payment of Gratuity Act (copies of Form A & Form F,
  • The Maternity Benefit Act.
  • The Karnataka Industrial Establishments (National & Festival) Holidays Act (List of Holidays for the year 2011).
  • The Karnataka Labour Welfare Fund Act (Form-D).
  • The Equal Remuneration Act (Form-D).
  • The Employment Exchange (compulsory Notification of Vacancies ) Act (returns in Form ER-1 & ER-11)
  • The Karnataka Professions Tax Act (Form-5 & Form 5A).
  • The Employees State Insurance Act & General Regulations, 1948 (copy of coverage Letter, Register of Employees; challans for payments remitted since April 2009 or from the last inspection Book / Notes of Inspection. if any.
  • The Employees Provident Fund Act (copy of Coverage Letter; Statements of contribution & challans for payments remitted since April 2009 or from the last inspection date; whichever is later; Annual returns (Form-6A)filed since September 2009); Inspection Book / Notes of Inspection, if any.
Audit Report: The audit report will cover an 'OVERVIEW' of all the above and suggest the steps to be taken to move in the direction of achieving the objective.
